I have a problem configuring my network printer.
excerpt /etc/printcap:
brother|Remote printer entry
:[EMAIL PROTECTED]
:sd=/var/spool/lpd/remote
Now I run lpq:
Printer: brother is [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Printer: [EMAIL PROTECTED] - ERROR: spool queue for 'text_p1' does not exist on
server nuntius.flop.net
non-existent printer or you need to run 'checkpc -f'
checkpc -f has no output.
Is this a bug or what did I wrong? I wanted to use the lpq port of my network
printer. This above should be a simple configuration (adapted from lprng
homepage).
192.168.xx.99 is not the localhost.
