Try the public access newsserver gmane.org. For more information see
the web page of the same name. The group corresponding to this mailing
list is gmane.linux.debian.user. This is a mail to news gateway (both
directions: MANE apparently stands for MAil to NEws And back again) so
it does everything you could want. Very useful if you use news; I hope
it doesn't go away. BTW, this is an initiative by the author of Gnus.
