The Save option could have a submenu, with an item for each open file. It could be "Save ..." and open a dialog box prompting the user to select the files to save. > A generic "Save All" might work, but would be potentially dangerous if called > by accident (what if you specificly did *not* want to write one file, as you > don't like the results of some editing and don't want to overwrite your good > version), Then you should be able to undo the operation. Anything dangerous should be undoable (not always practical, I know - but a nice goal to aim for) > and would always be annoying in the case that you have multiple > unnamed images that you'd have to name at that time or skip. It would be nice if it could save unnamed images. Obviously it would have to give the image a name in the filesystem, but that could just be a scratch name until the image is explicitly named. That way, the unnamed image could persist over multiple gimp sessions. I'm not trying to argue with you, Kirk. Your post just got me thinking about solutions to the problems you raised. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
