Large files should work just fine on ext2 - the filesystem itself has supported them for some years. You need to be running a 2.4 kernel in order to have a VFS layer without the 32-bit limit on 32-bit architectures. Not all tools will necessarily cope smoothly. -- Colin Watson [EMAIL PROTECTED]
