For information I am running with devfs mounted (and devfsd running). I have also mounted /dev/dvd on to /dvd just to show I can access the files. Just to show that I have rw access to the appropriate cd (apparently for libcss to work) I have also shown the link and device file created by devfs and devfsd [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/dev# ls -l dvd lr-xr-xr-x 1 root root 30 Dec 31 12:44 dvd -> ide/host0/bus1/target1/lun0/cd [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/dev# ls -l /dev/ide/host0/bus1/target1/lun0 total 0 brw-rw---- 1 root cdrom 22, 64 Jan 1 1970 cd [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/dev# Can anyone enlighten me as to what is wrong. - -- Alan - [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.chandlerfamily.org.uk -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iD8DBQE8MGGC1mf3M5ZDr2kRAtw1AJ0SfllfebxRE3xKfrVkdtKv46nGaQCgtCUK dAJQZCDqqRkjLJboIcDM+Oo= =x2Ty -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
