I havn't experienced the specific problem you are seeing... mainly
because I don't use that function much. BUT I have noticed other
"weirdness" in mozilla from "sid" ... enuf to make me think it is
"mozilla from hell" <g>.
After about a day or so, my ability to connect to sites that use SSL
disappeared ... specifically my bank, American Express, and Merryl Lynch
where I have accounts. When I tried to access the "secure" sections I
got the following: "You cannot connect to [site-specific URL] because of
an unknown SSL error (-8182)". I tried purging and re-installing all
the packages, but it wouldn't go away. I eventually reverted to mozilla
.95 in "testing" and all is well now. I had additional problems too,
but this was the main one for me. Guess mozilla .97 isn't quite ready
for prime time yet...
