folks, i can't find the docs on this, really, or i am merely too confused. bear with me please... i've heard you can configure apt/dpkg so that it knows about e.g. testing and unstable versions of the same archive (e.g. main/binary-i386), and then pass an option to apt/dpkg which causes it to select the appropriate distribution on a per-packet basis.
