Will do. I have a strange thing in my dselect list, under Obsolet/local optional packages: kernel-image 1.64 when I try to remove the package, I get a warning that I am going to uninstall the kernel. However, I also have 2.2.19 installed. Not sure what is causing that...
The problem could be with my controller - I have had no end of trouble with the Promise100 disk controller, (using an ASUS K7V motherboard).
