Hmm.. the latest controversies about (nvidia?) cards being tweaked specifically for quake3 so that they'd score better on benchmarks have sort of nullified it as a good benchmarker. Check out tomshardware.com to see what they're using these days -- they test with linux/win32 and occasionally toss about some macs. cheers, Matt
