I am trying to install debian 2.1 from a CD that
came with a book about debian. I am trying to install it on a 933 mnz laptop and
when I try to boot it for the first time she whole system freezes at the line
that says:
md driver 0.36.3 MAX_MD_DEV=4,
MAX_REAL=8
I let the system sit for about an hour and it
didn't move. I tried to boot on an old 233 mhz machine and it worked just
fine. I am inexperienced with linux, if you could please help me I would greatly
appreciated.
