The same thing happens with elm. The issue is telling the MUA that the folders are "inboxes" (able to receive mail). mutt treats all folders this way (and, for elm users, it has almost the same keybindings and better screen real estate usage). -D -- For society, it's probably a good thing that engineers value function over appearance.
