Hi everyone!

Till today my wireless lan worked fine. Yesterday I had to boot windows (what happens about 3 times a year ;) and now the wireless interface won't come up anymore.

cardctl ident 0
product info: "NETGEAR MA401RA Wireless PC", "Card", "ISL37300P", "Eval-RevA"
manfid: 0x000b, 0x7300
function: 6 (network)

(That's my wireless card)

in /var/log/syslog:

Mar 16 11:20:49 quicky cardmgr[357]: socket 0: NETGEAR MA401RA 11Mbps 802.11 WLAN Card
Mar 16 11:20:49 quicky cardmgr[357]: executing: 'modprobe prism2_cs'
Mar 16 11:20:49 quicky kernel: init_module: prism2_cs.o: 0.1.15 Loaded
Mar 16 11:20:49 quicky kernel: init_module: dev_info is: prism2_cs
Mar 16 11:20:49 quicky kernel: prism2_cs: RequestIRQ: Resource in use
Mar 16 11:20:49 quicky kernel: prism2sta_config: NextTuple failure? It's probably a Vcc mismatch.
Mar 16 11:20:49 quicky kernel: prism2sta_event: prism2_cs: Initialization failed!
Mar 16 11:20:50 quicky cardmgr[357]: get dev info on socket 0 failed: Resource temporarily unavailable

What is a Vcc mismatch? I've got absolutely no idea how to get that working again. My kernel version is 2.4.19-xfs. I'm currently using pcmcia-cs-3.2.2 and linux-wlan-ng-0.1.15 (both debian sid source packages)

I believe Windows set it's own IRQ and didn't reset the card properly. So Linux tries to use the same IRQ. But don't take that for sure.

Thanks for your help,
Michi
