Hi there ! Coming to a kernel compilation, thing i done one time before, but don't remember :) , could anyone tell me what " kernel-headers " are ? Are these a specificity to our Debian ? What are they required for ? When you get a new kernel and tar xvzf-it , does it install these kernel-headers ? Finally, compared to some other distribs, why are the kernel sources not installed by default (just wondering) ?
