I got it working but I don't understand why it works.
I tried to mount the CD as /dev/hda then hdb then hdc and it did not work.
I then tried hda again and now it works.

I am not sure just how long the drive has been unmountable, though. I
was using kernel 2.4.12 and last night I upgraded to 2.4.13 but the
