I'm using testing.When I start lyx I sometimes get an error about Lyx not being able to confirm that it can write to the directory. (It's my home directory)
I can't give a quote as I can't create it today.
I found this install to be a little weird in that I had to reconfigure it from the lyx menu before it would work 100%.
