When I first built the drivers, I had an older 64mb nvidia agp in there and didn't have that problem. However, since the older one is starting to tweak out, I had to replace it with this newer one that's a 64mb Geforce 4 MX440SE-T. I redid the process starting at the /usr/src/linux. Would wiping everything and and removing the nvidia deb packages and restarting all over again make a difference? Or is it because the new cards really need me to disable APIC or switch the console drivers to text mode? Thanks!
