Thanks, Andrew. I get the interface up, but without the IP address. This
is what my /etc/network/interfaces file looks like:
auto lo eth0
auto eth1
# The loopback interface
iface lo inet loopback
# The ethernet interface
iface eth0 inet dhcp
hostname scgf01
iface eth1 inet static
address 192.168.1.1
Have I missed something?
