lotta howtos are really old this is true. probably because not many people like to do documentation(i know i hate to do it myself). when i started with linux i didn't read many howtos(even today i rarely do). i just play with it until i can get it working. or i join a mailing list for it. i find it easier to answer the same question 10 times in a row then write a html page that answers it. just don't like to do documentation.......so boring!@ keeping it updated is even more boring then doing it in the first place .. nate
