I am planning to buy an external modem to receive faxes and (hopfully) voice messages[*]. Does anyone have a brand or model to recommend?
More ambitiously, I'd like to play around with setting up a voicemail system on a Linux box with a couple incoming lines---the type that greets the caller with "press 1 for Mr Boggs, press 2 for Ms Smith", etc, then takes a message for the person chosen.
