What in the beginning I thought was a try-to-GNOME2, has becoming, a rip-off-everything-I-know-in-GNOME1 and learn-everything-about-GNOME2.
Many things and structure has gone thru many changes I presume.
After a few times muck aroung with woody-backported GNOME2, mess-up with unstable-GNOME2 and thought it was GNOME1 (which actually is not!, is that gnome-bin version 1.4 was meant to be used on GNOME2? I wonder...)
So went back to GNOME2 from woody-backported, get some trouble in Mozilla1.2 fonts. remove (almost) everything again, and edit sources-list to use testing+unstable this time, (and try to promise not to get backported again... ) got GNOME2 running with Mozilla from CVS.
Read a couple clue to install mozilla-xft. Install it. And Mozilla got gnome2-fonts, too. But why does the fonts in gnome2 cannot display Chinese charsets, I oftenly get in one of the debian*lists?
Don't know that answers now.
What I like to know is, how do I disable anti-aliasing font in gnome2? Or is it possible for me just to use X-fonts? Or is there anything I should be adding to font.conf?
The fonts surely looks strange to me, now. Kind of blurry...
Thanks for any help.
