That is true. Still, I use fvwm and run Konqueror. It installs KDE stuff, yeah, but it haven't been a problem for me, so far. Maybe it could (and probably does?) make system a bit slower, that is one downside. But as I said, I run fvwm and like to keep it simple too - IMHO Konqueror is still a nice browser to have. > Others I've tried include Mozilla (quite like it), Skipstone, and Links. > Skipstone crashes a lot and Links keeps wiping out its booklist, for > some reason. Mozilla I've tried, and it was *far* too slow on my ancient and slow machine (P100/40MB). Even Galeon was, so I use Konqueror and Netscape 4.x sometimes. Links I haven't been using lately, lynx just comes more naturally when typing at the console. :-) > One limitation I have is that my bank won't accept anything but Netscape. I was surprised, that my bank accepted Konqueror. At least I was able to do a transfer with it... -- Jussi Ekholm, "Everything is so fine it could be little, ill flower don't let your mind take you in misery [EMAIL PROTECTED] all the feelings you're not so much pleased http://goa-head.org/ekhowl they're just to take you to sweet harmony"
