Windows 98SE has device type, manufacturer and hardware verison. My computer is a Compaq Presario 5280 probably made in 1998 I look in the computer when I get the change In view by connection type under device manager ES1869 Control Interface and ES1869 Plug and Play Audio Drive are listed under Plug and Play BIOS.
