Hi, after a recent format and installing of debian woody(but set all sources to download from unstable) and KDE 3.1 I want to get qt working so I can compile e.g. kmail 1.5 which afaik is not yet a .deb in unstable? I normally added the KDE download ftp as debian source and used that kmail, but certain packages from the kde ftp resulted in conflicts...

Anyway, I simply need to get qt(3?) working, but am clueless to which version of qt I need. I've tried a lot, but simply seem not to get it working. I tried compiling a simply qt app, but make produced a huge list of errors.

I have this installed _(the ones with ii)_:
ii libqt2 2.3.2-12 Qt GUI Library (runtime version)
ii libqt2-emb 2.3.2-3 Qt-Embedded GUI Library (runtime version).
ii libqt2-mt 2.3.2-12 Qt GUI Library (runtime threaded version)
rc libqt3 3.1.1+cvs.2002 Qt GUI Library (runtime files)
ii libqt3-compat- 3.1.1-7 Qt 1.x and 2.x compatibility includes
in libqt3-emb 3.0.3-1 (no description available)
ii libqt3-headers 3.1.1-7 Qt3 header files
rc libqt3-mt 3.1.1+cvs.2002 Qt GUI Library (Threaded runtime version)
ii libqt3-mt-dev 3.1.1-7 Qt development files (Threaded)
ii libqt3c102 3.1.1-7 Qt Library
ii libqt3c102-mt 3.1.1-7 Qt GUI Library (Threaded runtime version)
ii libqtcups2 2.0-4 Qt interface library for CUPS
ii libqte-mt3 3.1.2-1 Qt/Embedded GUI Library (runtime threaded ve

I have about ~310 and ~43 headers in .../include and ../include/private. But still, compiling a simple qt app produced errors such as:
MKUltra.cpp:378: `maximize' undeclared (first use this function)
MKUltra.cpp:381: `RightButton' undeclared (first use this function)
MKUltra.cpp:382: `MaximizeHorizontal' undeclared (first use this function)
MKUltra.cpp:385: `LeftButton' undeclared (first use this function)
MKUltra.cpp:387: `MaximizeFull' undeclared (first use this function)
etc.
Which qt package _DO_ I need then?

Any help would gladly be appreaciated.
Thanks.

P.S. I hope this hasn't produced any nasty html, as I'm forced to use hotmail at the moment until I get kmail going.
