I have an Abit BE6 motherboard with a Celeron 300A CPU and 6 hard drives and I was wondering if there was a way that I could install debian and have it automatically recognize all four ide channels. I was able to install it and have it recognize the first two channels but I'm not sure how to get the other two channels (and the hard drives attached to them).
I'm still new to this so the more detailed the instructions the better. If you need any more information please tell me. thx, james
