The following message appears after the monitor and keyboard have been 
installed, primary and swap partitions have been set up, and partition(s) have 
been mounted (not sure about swap):

"The attempt to extract the Drivers Floppy failed"

The machine is a 486DX100 with 111 MB RAM and 850 MB Caviar drive. Has two 
3C905B-TX NICs. BIOS has PnP, CD-ROM is ATAPI but not bootable. Using Debian 
2.1 
obtained with Thomas Down's book, Installing Debian/GNU Linux.
