Thanks for all who have answered to my question. 

I think that the problem lies in the buggy drivers as some people told. 

I will try to use this suggestion below first. 
(The machine is in a workshop and tomorrow is saturday and the guys in the
workshop will not work tomorrow, but I'll try myself.)

I will try to change the kernel into a newer one as well. 


If it won't work I wil try using advices got from some other posts.

I have this one
eth0: 3Com 3c905B Cyclone 100baseTx at 0x1000,  00:50:da:20:a9:3f, IRQ 11     
and is using this driver:
/lib/modules/2.2.19/net/3c59x.o

try a insmod /lib/modules/2.2.19/net/3c59x.o    (change .19 with your kernel 
version)
this should works ok.
