This is effectively an amalgamation of all of the mouse-like USB devices on the system, and won't provide the extra event hooks for pressure / tilt support. > I have a Wacom Graphire USB that also 'just works' with the X drivers. I've been trying to get my Wacom tablet up and running properly for a while now; the XFree86 wacom-specific drivers simply didn't work for me. Using the X driver from http://linuxwacom.sourceforge.net/, I've managed to get everything _mostly_ working -- X starts accepting the tablet input after I've waved the *eraser* end over the pad. (Bizarre.) The tilt and pressure sensitivity works, but there's currently an issue with a stepping effect for quick pen movements. In terms of hardware support, the Wacoms are probably the best out there. USB device support just seems a bit iffy right now.
