Hi,
I have debian potato with kernel 2.2.17. there is a kernel-image-2.2.19 at http://packages.debian.org/ and some mirrors. I have the deb file. Can I simply upgrade my kernel image to 2.2.19 by dpkg program ??. I mean: dpkg -i kernel-image-2.2.19_2.2.19-2.deb ?? Or I can use apt-get install kernel-image-2.2.19 or something like that after apt-get update and adding one mirror with the kernel image v. 2.2.19 ?? best regards, Maciek Bobrowski
