But it should *not* happen in a stable kernel series. An update like this belongs in 2.5, and then maybe backported when it's working well. Where is 2.5 anyway??? Maybe I'm just cranky, but I think my 3 year old soundcard whose drivers have been available for ~2 years should just work at this point, without having to worry about tracking cvs and their mailing list. -- Brian Nelson <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
