I see you have not read the Lilo documentation either. Here is how I use the append in my lilo.conf. I followed the documentation. Image = /boot/kernel-2.4.9 label = Woody-249 Root = /dev/hda10 VGA = 0x31A append = "hdd=cdrom lp=parport0 parport=0x378,none video=vesa" Image = /boot/memtest86 Label = Memtest # Win95 Why waste the disk space?? # #Other = /dev/hda1 # Label = win # Table = /dev/hda Please 'do not' send copies to me.
