Another advantage - the potential maximum size of your filesystem is the maximum size of your disk drive (of course we're constrained by the current limitations of 32-bit hard disks, but theoretically its possible)
If you're in to journalling file systems and would be quite involved in huge databases or making streams of CG and video, i would suggest reiserfs or XFS as the filesystems for you.
