hello! after an euphoric phase where xawtv worked really nice (even if i can't get the picture in full screen, all i get making the frame bigger and bigger are bigger black borders around the quite small image....) now it doesn't work anymore..... :(
starting xawtv yields me a: This is xawtv-3.60, running on Linux/i686 (2.4.9) v4l: timeout (got SIGALRM), hardware/driver problems? ioctl: VIDIOCSYNC(0): Interrupted system call ioctl: VIDIOCMCAPTURE(0,fmt=5,size=48x32): Device or resource busy what's bothering me a bit is the following: cat /proc/interrupts CPU0 0: 65765 XT-PIC timer 1: 2851 XT-PIC keyboard 2: 0 XT-PIC cascade 5: 1726 XT-PIC es1371 8: 1 XT-PIC rtc 9: 35566 XT-PIC nvidia 10: 4967 XT-PIC eth0, bttv <--- here 11: 32186 XT-PIC aic7xxx 12: 4776 XT-PIC PS/2 Mouse 14: 789 XT-PIC ide0 NMI: 0 ERR: 0 with those 2 things on the same interrupt... i gave the tulip (eth0) module a irc=13 setting, but nothing changes it persists to want to be on 10.... anyway its a vanilla debian 2.4.9 kernel with Nvidia drivers installed on an Athlon system..... keen about any hint.... -- ciao bboett ============================================================== [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://inforezo.u-strasbg.fr/~bboett http://erm1.u-strasbg.fr/~bboett =============================================================== the total amount of intelligence on earth is constant. human population is growing....
