I think there will be less room for misunderstanding if the instructions read: To UNSUBSCRIBE, send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Put "unsubscribe" in the Subject header. Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED] This way we emphasize the not-so-obvious fact that by Subject we mean an email header and not the content of the email. I can always say, for example, that the subject (lower caps) of this email is about making the debian-user unsubscribe instructions clearer. But the Subject, as it is, is "Re: Unidentified subject!"
