I used tomcat 3.2.3 on potato (before I blew something else up and started fresh with sid). However, I took the easy way out and grabbed the .deb from woody instead of compiling it. > When I finish the compilation, I receive error message. > > Address has been used. Was this before you tried starting tomcat? Or did you get this as the JavaServer was starting up? The debian package has the JavaServer starting at port 8081 instead of 8080 as there is another package that uses 8080 (IIRC). This doesn't sound like it would generate that error though. Might there be other dependancy issues? The biggest problem I had was figuring out the examples were under the path http://localhost:8081/tomcat-examples/ instead of the default location. I should have read the configuration files a little more closely. We could probably use more detail in trying to figure this out. >Did anyone have the same experience? > > Best regards, > GilbertÿôèPÔ > Chris Cothrun CaptivAds Inc. [EMAIL PROTECTED]
