There is a "very experimental" option for tcp based nfs in kernel-source-2.2.19 that isn't in the 2.4 stuff. I don't know if it's been abandoned or put back under the experimental radar. Perhaps some kernel-list archives would shed some light on it's ultimate fate. --mike
