Are you connected to the internet via this computer? If you are do you have your sources.list setup to upgrade through apt-get? Perhaps a newer version of 2.2 will give you some more video cards to select from (hopefully, the one you have in particular).
If wife/child will cooperate, I should be able to get to my Linux machine at home, just set it up to upgrade via the web, which is way cool!
