This was probably a bad idea. I would suggest reinstalling the version of libc6 you were previously using and building your own nmap .deb from the package source (using dpkg-buildpackage). If all goes well, your homemade nmap .deb will then depend on the version of libc6 you currently have installed, and you will be able to install it without any problems. -- Leonard Stiles <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
