'apt-cache search' isn't reliable for finding files; you need to download the appropriate Contents-*.gz file for your architecture from e.g. ftp://ftp.debian.org/debian/dists/unstable/Contents-i386.gz and zgrep through that, or else use the search form on http://packages.debian.org/.
