Suppose I am having an HTML form that calls a CGI script wriiten in Perl (hosted by a Linux Server) : 1. Does the fresh program I have written and labelled as , say, action.pl ....... Does it automatically get compiled and run by the HTML page/ form that calls it ? 2. Or do I have to make it an EXE first and then make the HTML form call this EXE ?
