I get the same messages but my CD-ROM is hdd. I have 2 HD's on the
primary IDE and a ZIP as hdc. There must be a solution to this
problem because I know it works. I had a quite crappy 2.2r0
installation (from a magzines CD) without these errors. The I
decided two get the CD images for 2.2r3 and do a complete new, clean
installation. Since then I get these messages when installing from CD.
