The driver from matrox is for XFree86 4.0.2/4.0.3. > [dri] mga.o kernel module version is 2.0.1 but version 3.0.x is needed. Compile a new mga module using http://www.xfree86.org/~alanh/drm-kernelsource.tar.gz and everything should work fine. Sebastian
