You can get a Delta 44 for $260.oo {midi/24/96} at marsmusic.com, Audiophile cards for a bit less. I think your best bets are to scan: http://www.marsmusic.com http://www.musiciansfriend.com http://sweetwater.com/ and compare them to the charts at OSS and Alsa. Lots of good high quality cards are supported. Lots of folk are starting to put out their own drivers.
