This would probably be better for comp.emacs.xemacs, but you might be able to use customize to get all your faces looking right for one, make a copy of those settings wherever customize data is stored, change them all again for the other setting, make a copy of the new ones, then do something like this in .emacs: (if window-system ; In case it is under X (custom-set-faces (blah-blah-blah)) ; In case it isn't (custom-set-faces (blah-blah-blah))) Warning: I'm not an XEmacs user, so the syntax might need tweaking.
