Selecting windows manager. Video card. Help.

1. I can't remember what's the command (script) to select the default windows manager. Can someone remind me? 2. What's the needed module for video card GA-6VX7B-4X? I can't get a good resolution despite automatic recognition of card by installer (XF86Configure). 3. For AC' 97 sound card? Thanks a bunch. RR.
