Thanks Mike, serves me right for not reading the *right* FM :) So does anyone know of a nice CardBus NIC that plays well with Debian? I did get a 3Com 575 with this machine as well, but couldn't get it to work on the first go, and a friend of mine needed a network card, so I sold it to him :( (I'll see if he wants to swap.
