I'm having a little problem on my mouse configuration. I'm a "debian newbie", but I have already used many distributions, like SuSE, Mandrake, Red Hat, and it did work well on all of them. But on Debian, it only works in the console, when I use the gpm server. When I start the X Window, it freezes on the center on the screen, and doesn't move anywhere. In X, it is like it isn't there.
I had previous problems with the XFree 3.3.6 when I started used Debian, but I solved them copying my XF86Config from other distributions to the /etc/X11, and it did work well, except for this little problem with the mouse. So, do you know if there is an utility to configure the mouse other than XF86Setup or xf86config? I'm using a simple mouse with 3 buttons, use XFree 3.3.6 and debian 2.2r3. I don't know if this could be useful, but when I added the parameter "Auto" on XF86Config to the section pointer to make it recognize my mouse, it tried to probe 5 or 6 times but ran out of X. I'd be grateful if anyone could help. Thank you for help ;-) __________________________________________________________________________ Acesso pelo menor preço do mercado!
