I've got the Creative CT5880 w/AC97 CODEC on board, which I've only been able to get functioning properly under a 2.2 series kernel with a full compliment of alsa. Worked quite well though. Mine is an Ensonic ens1371 or es1371, a 2.4.5, Bunk kernel with modular sound and the es1371 module works exceptionally well. Charlie
