I might be making a fool of myself by asking this, but is there any way of extracting information such as text and pictures out of a PDF file that anyone knows of? So far I haven't used PDF files to other things than view them, and occasionally print them, using xpdf, but now I need to cut and paste a piece of text and a couple of pictures from as PDF file.
