When I installed Woody, I set up the hardware clock to GMT, then specified US/Eastern as my time zone. The GNOME 1.4 time applet, though, shows a time of 4:52 pm, when the actual local time is 9:52 pm. 'hwclock' shows 16:52.
What gives?
