I've a wonderful debian 2.2r3 laptop, almost perfectly set up and working greatly and stable.
The present kernel is 2.2.19 and I compiled to tailor it (usage of memory, needless devices, etc.) to my needs. It's all OK! My simple question is: Is there any advantage to upgrade my box to kernel 2.4.5? Ciao Vittorio
